 2019-21 3rd Executive Committee Meeting Summary 2019-21 3rd Executive Committee Meeting was held on 10 March 2020 and the major issues include: 2020-21 Budget The Executive Committee approved the 2020-21 budget. The total income of the Association is estimated to be HKD43 million, a decrease of HKD2 million compared with the budget for 2019-20. Expenditure is estimated to be HKD43 million, which is slightly reduced when compared with the figures in last financial year. In general, a balanced budget could be maintained. 2019 Staff Retreat Follow-up Meeting 2019 staff retreat follow-up meeting was postponed due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation and public health concern. The Secretariat will hold a feeder system review meeting on 13 March to re-formulating potential athletes’ development framework and implementation plan which will be included in the “Pathway to 2026 Success” programme. In this connection, the Association will temporarily stop organizing training courses with Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Home Affairs Bureau, school and group training courses so as to complement the building of the new feeder system. Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games will be held from 25 August to 6 September 2020. Hong Kong has secured 16 slots in the sports of archery, athletics, boccia, equestrian, swimming and table tennis at the moment. Meanwhile, the Association will hold the Delegation List Announcement and Flag Presentation Ceremony at Plaza Hollywood on 12 July. |
