 Experienced Boccia Assistant and Para Lawn Bowls Coach Retire
Boccia assistant NG Hoi and Para lawn bowls coach Osman ADEM will retire after finishing their current term at the end of March. Dr. James LAM, Chairman of the Association hosted a farewell banquet on 12 March to express sincere gratitude for their remarkable effort and contributions to the local Para sports development. Souvenir plaques were presented as well to recognize their dedication. NG Hoi, joined the Hong Kong boccia team for almost 20 years, has been providing guidance and assistance in Para athlete’s trainings as well as nurturing young talents. Osman ADEM, cultivating in the field of local Para lawn bowls for over 20 years, was devoted to enhance athletes’ competitiveness in international tournaments and was honored the Distinguished Services Award for Coaching of the 2017 Jockey Club Hong Kong Coaching Awards. The Association extends its heartfelt thanks for their services and wishes them a joyful retirement life. |
