Hong Kong Team Booked Wheelchair Fencing Spots to Tokyo Paralympics Seeing 21 Athletes Qualified Following the athletics berths gained early this week, Hong Kong Team punched more Tokyo 2020 Paralympics spots in wheelchair fencing. Wheelchair fencer YU Chui Yee qualified in Women's Foil and Epee Individual Category A through combined individual ranking of these two weapons. Her teammate, CHUNG Yuen Ping, also obtained Women's Foil and Epee Individual Category B slots via individual ranking with entry in 2nd weapon. Hong Kong Team has sealed qualification slots for ten consecutive Paralympic Games since New York and Stoke Mandeville 1984 Edition. Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games will be held from 24 August to 5 September 2021, a total of 21 athletes have qualified to the Games. Details are as follows:
Hong Kong Team is attempting to earn more slots in badminton, rowing and triathlon. However, the slots are yet to be confirmed due to the extended qualifying periods.
