Senior Communication and Corporate Affairs Officer

The Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (HKPC&SAPD) is currently the national member of International Paralympic Committee (IPC) with the vision of Enabling Hong Kong Paralympic Athletes to Achieve Sporting Excellence. The HKPC&SAPD would be renamed Hong Kong Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (HKSAPD) in April 2022 with a distinct role of promoting and development of 11 Para sports which are currently under the governance of HKPC&SAPD. We are now inviting candidates with strong passion in Para sports development to apply for the post of Senior Communication and Corporate Affairs Officer.
 
 
Major Responsibilities
  • Lead the Communication and Corporate Affairs team
  • Provide inputs on HKSAPD communication, marketing and branding strategies
  • Plan and manage publicity activities which are conducive to the vision of Para sports development, including promotional events, publications, official website and social media tools.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with media, sponsors and partners
  • Coordinate HKSAPD 50th Anniversary Programmes
  • Managing the HKSAPD’s volunteer affairs
  • Handle PR enquiries and ad-hoc projects as assigned
  
Requirements
  • University degree in Communications/Marketing or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years’ working experience in public relations, promotion and event management
  • Good inter-personal, presentation and organisational skills
  • Fluency in oral and written English and Chinese
  • Relevant experience in website and social media administration, management, and content development is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in sports industry is an advantage
 
Benefits
Salary will depend on qualifications and related work experience. Annual leave, Mandatory Provident Fund, and medical insurance will be provided.
